Where are we?
Amrit treks and expedition is located right next to Lake Phewa in the popular town of Pokhara.
Conveniently located on the main street of
Lakeside, the Amrit Treks and Expedition office is at
Hotel
Marigold, next to Frontiers Paragliding, between the Standard
Chartered Bank and Camping Chowk.
The trekking office
is therefore convenient to shops,
restaurants, and travel agencies, while also being quiet and
enjoying beautiful lake views. It is also a five minute taxi ride to
the airport and bus parks, from which there are daily flights and/or
buses to Kathmandu, Royal Chitwan National Park, and the Indian
border at Sunauli.
Pokhara itself is 200 kms west of Kathmandu, 884
metres above sea level, and the most popular destination within
Nepal outside of Kathmandu. It has a relaxing peaceful atmosphere,
with full views of the Annapurna Range of the Himalayas, and is a
common place amongst travellers to start and finish treks into the
Region, or to simply relax and enjoy the quiet surrounds. |
